| We all know and use Paper Money of the United States by Arthur L. and Robert Friedberg from the coin and currency Institute. Robert Friedbergs original work launched US Paper Money collecting. Many years ago the Friedbergs hadstands or keos' in every Gimbel's Department Store across the country. When Gimbel's failed in the mid 1980's the Freidbergs had to close those retail locations. This note was purchased on the day Gimbel's NYC closed in December 1986. It was noted on the outer holder by the purchaser. The note itself is in its original holder from Gimbel's priced with its original Gimbe's sticker at $7.95 This is a true piece of US Paper Money Collecting History. The note is Choice XF and is available $125. |
